Barnabas Matching collects the information needed to operate the mentoring and match-introduction program. This may include your name, email address, mobile phone number, program participation details, message preferences, match profile content, and message delivery records.

We may also collect campaign-specific information submitted by program administrators, including pairing identifiers, match summaries, opt-in status, and records of whether messages were delivered, undelivered, or failed.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • administer the Barnabas Matching program;
  • create and manage participant matches;
  • send match announcements, introductions, check-ins, and broadcast updates by email or SMS;
  • maintain participant preferences, including opt-in and opt-out status;
  • monitor delivery status, troubleshoot messaging issues, and improve program operations; and
  • respond to support requests.

SMS and Mobile Information

Mobile numbers and SMS consent information are used only to deliver program-related text messages connected to Barnabas Matching.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with messaging service providers that support delivery of program communications.

Sharing and Disclosure

Information is used only for operating the Barnabas Matching program. We do not sell participant information, and we do not share participant information with third parties for advertising, lead generation, or marketing purposes.

We may rely on service providers such as hosting, database, email, and messaging vendors solely to process data on our behalf and only as needed to operate the service.

Data Retention and Security

We retain participant and message records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, maintain logs, resolve issues, and meet applicable administrative or legal obligations.

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to limit access to participant information and protect program data from unauthorized use.
